Personal Dr. Chu received his medical degree and completed his pediatric residency at the University of California, Irvine. A SOCPA physician since 2001, he has a special interest in infectious diseases, vaccines and athletics.
On staff at Saddleback Memorial Medical Center, Mission Hospital and Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) at Mission, Dr. Chu is a member of the Saddleback Memorial Credentialing Committee.
Dr. Chu and his wife attend Mariner’s Church in Irvine and volunteer with a local soup kitchen. His hobbies include traveling, basketball, running, coaching track and field, watching movies, and relaxing with his wife, family and friends. Dr. Chu and his wife, Christina Lee (who is an obstetrician) and son Ryan reside in Irvine.
